UK condemns bomb attack in Pakistan (28/10/2009)
The bomb, which exploded in a market place, killed dozens of people and injured many more. The Foreign Secretary said:
"Today's bomb attack in a market in Peshawar has killed dozens of innocent people and injured many more.
We utterly condemn this despicable and indiscriminate attack against the Pakistani people. Our thoughts and condolences go to the victims and their families.
The UK will continue to support Pakistan in its efforts to counter the threat it faces from violent extremism."
